Lately, jigsaw games seem to have caught the fancy of DS and DSi owners. Keeping in line with the latest market fad, Zushi will launch a camera enabled jigsaw title, Jigapix, later this year. The new version will cover themes like Wild World, Wonderful World and Pets.

Jigapix will let DSi owners create their own pictures by using the new DSi Camera feature and the game will also create a jigsaw of any picture the user has clicked. In the Wild World theme, there are pictures of animals ranging from those found at the bottom of the ocean to those found in expansive African Plains.
The Wonderful World edition has images of vivid and picturesque settings whereas the Pets version has pictures of everyday pets like cats, cockatoos, guinea pigs and goldfish as well as a few lesser known ones. This puzzle game also offers a few bonus mini games like Slices, Sliding Blocks and Spot the Difference.
Each themed pack has over 80 images that can be played in both single and multiplayer modes. There are multiple difficultly levels along with a challenge mode for the more serious puzzler.
Zushi plans to launch the three themed Jigapix in winter of 2009 for the Nintendo DS and DSi, while prices have not been mentioned. Jigapix Smiley World and Jigapix Love is…, are a few other titles on the cards and due to release later in the year.
