This week Nintendo really has a huge package for DSi owners in the form of DSiWare. The titles released for the Nintendo DSi this week are Bomberman Blitz, Electroplankton Trapy, Electroplankton Hanenbow, Electroplankton Rec-Rec, Electroplankton Nanocarp, and Electroplankton Beatnes.

Bomberman Blitz

Electroplankton Trapy features the Trapy plankton which make sounds as they swim over lines made from linked triangles. There are six types of Trapy, each with a characteristic colour and sound. The Trapy produce different tones which depend on the direction in which they are swimming. Electroplankton Trapy is available for 200 Nintendo DSi Points.

Electroplankton Hanenbow for the DSiWare features the Hanenbow, which although are chiefly aquatic, sometimes use floating leaves to launch themselves out of the water. And entire schools of Hanenbow are known to launch themselves out of the water, one after the other. When they hit a leaf repeatedly, it changes colour, and alters the sound produced. When all the leaves turn red, a flower will bloom. Electroplankton Hanenbow is available for 200 Nintendo DSi Points.

Electroplankton Rec-Rec features the Rec-Rec which feed on sound waves, absorbing them and using them as a form of nutrition. Once the consumed sound waves are digested, the Rec-Rec play back the sounds in perfect four-second intervals. And this is when their bodies pulsate with the wave patterns. Electroplankton Rec-Rec is also available for 200 Nintendo DSi Points.

Electroplankton Nanocarp is a game which features the Nanocarp. These plankton have very sharp hearing, and can distinguish sound quality and frequency. They tend to swim in formations of 16 and react interestingly to the sound of humans clapping and breathing. They emit sounds themselves when they detect waves on the surface. Electroplankton Nanocarp can be purchased for 200 Nintendo DSi Points.

Lastly for DSiWare this week is the game Electroplankton Beatnes. The game features Beatnes, which are curious plankton with geometrically shaped heads forming vertical strands resembling seaweed. The sound made by a Beatnes varies depending on which part of the body is tapped. Electroplankton Beatnes is available for 200 Nintendo DSi Points.
