Snegenes P console can play NES, SNES and Genesis games

This one is for fans of the many classic retro console games. Here is a custom built “portable” console which combines hardware from a few devices and lets you play games built for the NES, SNES, and the Sega Genesis.

Snegenes P Portable Console

Technabob is reporting that modder Trstn18 has created what he calls the Snegenes P, using parts taken from an authentic “mini” SNES and a Gen X clone system. Trstn18 has used a PSone screen with the infamous LED mod, and has crammed two different IC’s into one board, one to account for the NES/Genesis and the other for the SNES.

The modded console is 8.6 inches wide, 5.4 inches tall and one inch thick. Apparently it uses six 2600 mAh batteries, giving it about five to seven hours of play on a single charge. The console also has composite video and stereo audio outputs so that it can be connected to a TV screen, and it can even play actual cartridges from the retro systems.
