But what about being a platform for gaming? Well, we have word that the snap-on game pad for the LG Versa is now available in Verizon stores and via the company’s website.
The QWERTY keypad for the Versa needs its own wallet, but the game pad for the phone slides along its back and is tucked away when not in use. Engadget reports that the game pad comes with an 8-way directional pad and four SNES-style action buttons, with start and select buttons also present. The Game Controller accessory uses power from the Versa, not needing its own battery supply and can recognize multiple keys being pressed simultaneously.
The game pad looks pretty thin and might be slightly awkward when it comes to actually playing games. Apparently, it raises a tad of a doubt about the ease of gameplay. The accessory for the LG Versa is available for 29.99 USD (approx. Rs. 1,495).
