Video games publisher Hudson Entertainment has sent word that they have released Bomberman Land: Battles for mobile phones. The game is available on all major Java and BREW mobile phones. It follows the million-unit-selling mobile game Super Bomberman.
John Greiner is the president and the chief executive officer of Hudson Entertainment. He stated, “The Bomberman franchise remains one of Hudson’s best-selling and most-recognized properties. By bringing the Bomberman Land series to mobile phones, we are continuing to increase the fan base of this adventure-oriented series while also introducing some of the franchise’s longtime console supporters to the mobile game market.”
Here are the details of Bomberman Land Battles:
- Fresh off his hit console game, Bomberman is back on mobile phones, in Bomberman Land: Battles, with an all-new adventure mode featuring 32 huge maps that have branching paths. With a gameplay style parallel to other games in the Bomberman series, players will begin the game with a basic Bomberman, but will advance their character as they make their way through themed levels. Once each level is cleared, the player can pick one of three different paths. Paths should be chosen carefully, as each of the 15 unique power-ups is found in a specific path. Use those power-ups wisely to win each of the five enormous boss fights. Once each boss is defeated, they are unlocked as opponents in VS. Mode, in which players fight against other Bombermen in classic Bomberman battles!
Bomberman Land: Battles for the mobile phones is already out. However, gamers should also look forward to the console versions of Bomberman. Just a few days ago, Hudson had sent word that Bomberman games for Nintendo DS, Wii and PSP had gone gold.
