Access to MMOG Lego Universe Now Open

Ensuring a whole two weeks of Lego fun, an Early Founder’s access was rewarded earlier this month to those who had pre-ordered the first massively-multiplayer online game based on the Lego play experience. The exclusive fortnight has ended and the virtual brick-building world of Lego Universe is now open for public access across North America.

“The LEGO Group has been looking forward to this moment for nearly ten years, and could not be more excited to invite the world to experience LEGO Universe for the first time,” commented Mark William Hansen, LEGO Universe Senior Director, the LEGO Group. “NetDevil has been a wonderful partner and helped develop our vision to introduce an entirely new dimension of the LEGO play experience.”

It has been claimed that Lego Universe presents gamers with almost three thousand options to personalize their ‘Minifigure’, nine mini-games, six vast worlds to discover, two thousand unique Lego bricks in any color of likeness as well as four personal property areas to claim and customize. Anything one can imagine can be vivified in the Lego Universe, or so it has been said.

With Lego group and NetDevil having started with developing more missions, new worlds, competitions, models, features, bricks, and characters, it has been reported that monthly game updates, expansions and additions will be included with the regular subscription fee.
