Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom to hit stores next month, Demo out now

There seems to have been a few minor controversies among gaming enthusiasts which indicate a few parallels between an action-adventure puzzle game Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom, developed by Game Republic, and Team Ico’s The Last Guardian. But Namco Bandai, the publisher of the former, writes the rumors off proclaiming that the game has been long in development before the latter was announced. Amongst all the anticipation brewing up for this new co-op game, it has been reported that Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom is now gone gold and set to hit retail stores for Xbox 360 and PS3 this November.

Majin Forsaken Kingdom

The storyline takes gamers across a seamless world where battles are being fought and challenges overcome by an agile hero allied with a powerful AI controlled monster. A splendorous journey awaits as a clever and swift character Tepeu faces difficulties on his expedition environed with emotions of courage and friendship.

Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom is reported to revamp co-op AI gameplay by invoking an experience that presents a balanced combination of action, platform navigation, combat and stealth, which propounds a craft that maintains a sense of captivation throughout the game. With every character forwarding towards its own mission, team-play becomes necessary to survive as Tepeu and Majin are required to advance together to surmount the challenges that obstruct them. This interdependence gradually grows, only to become more profound in its nature.

The downloadable demo will have players start from the game’s first level where the central character Tepeu encounters Majin. Together with the newly discovered monster-mate, both will set out on a quest across illustrious environments spread throughout a gloomy kingdom. With puzzles to solve and gruesome enemies to terminate, the demo is said to provide players with an overview of the diverse gameplay elements available in the full version.

Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom for PS3 and Xbox 360 is planned to be released throughout Europe and Asia-Pacific on November 26, 2010. The free playable demo is said to be accessible for a test play from Xbox Live Marketplace and PSN.
