It is known from his official site ThisIs50.com that the artist will feature in the game as ‘The Multi-Player Voice’. This was revealed by the rapper after he paid a visit to Infinity Ward, the developers of the title. Robert Bowling, the developer’s director of communications discloses that 50 Cent will take on the role of one of many squad voices which will be included in the multiplayer and Spec Ops modes of the forthcoming title. He states that fans will be able to hear the rapper say things like ‘Watch your fire, Tango Down, I’m down, get me up! and Reloading.’

Bowling confirms, “He is one of quite a few casual cameos in the game, none of which I can name at this point. Benji and Joel of Good Charlotte not being one of them. They are just good friends with Curtis and came along with him when he was here recently to check out his voice in the game.”

Call of Duty franchise has featured famous voices in the past. Gary Oldman and Keifer Sutherland played a role in Treyarch’s Call of Duty: World At War. The artist in focus has also had some video game experience as he voiced his own character in 50 Cent Bulletproof and 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand.
