He is allegedly in active negotiations with the concerned persons regarding the development of the film. Steven Spielberg is known for his hit movies like E.T., Jaws and Transformers. It is claimed that the talented director is pleased with the screenplay penned by Stuart Beattie titled Halo The Fall Of Reach. His work was inspired by The Fall Of Reach novel by Eric Nyland. Being a video game enthusiast himself, Spielberg is believed to have been floored by the script offered to him and is currently talks with the big-wigs involved in the making of the game adaptation. He was even present when the Natal technology from Microsoft was unveiled. The movie plans were supposedly earlier abandoned by Lord Of The Rings and King Kong director Peter Jackson. He was apparently going to produce the film with Neill Blomkamp at the helm.

DreamWorks recently lost Transformers to Paramount and hence is allegedly looking out for a tent pole which will aid in its newly launched independent studio. Halo the game features a cybernetic-enhanced human soldier called Master Chief and his AI companion Cortana. Together they must fight against the theoretic alliance of alien races known as the Covenant.

Whatever the case may be, we hope to see this action-packed game transformed into a movie of epic proportions soon.
