One thing that every gamer likes to see when playing a game is the words “Power Up”. Well, now Namco Bandai has decided to give gamers an infinite power up! They have revealed an old-school shoot-em-up known as PowerUp Forever. The game will release on the PlayStation Network as well as the Xbox Live Arcade.
Namco Bandai calls the game as a fractal shooter. The game sees players flying around in their ship around an open space as they destroy their enemies. But as they annihilate the enemy ships, their vessel starts to grow larger and larger but the space around them starts to shrink. This makes it harder to avoid enemy bullets.
PowerUp Forever for the PSN and the XBLA is expected to be out soon but they have not revealed the exact release dates. The game will surely will be compared to titles such as Geometry Wars and Stardust HD but will it get the same reception that these games got? Well, we will have to wait for the release of PowerUp Forever for that.
