How to Train Your Dragon Now Available

Last month we reported that Activision would release the game ‘How to Train Your Dragon’ in March 2010. Now Activision Publishing has announced that How to Train Your Dragon, the video game based on the much-anticipated 3D animated feature from DreamWorks, has been released for the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii and DS.

The game takes players through dynamic environments on and around the Island of Berk. Players will be able to customise their own dragons with over a hundred-thousand possible combinations to choose from.

“The How To Train Your Dragon video game allows kids to live the fantasy of creating their very own dragons and engaging in epic battles against other fire breathing foes,” Rob Kostich, head of marketing for licensed properties, Activision Publishing remarked. “Whether they are playing on their own or against family and friends, kids will have a blast in this high energy epic adventure.”

To support the launch of the game, Activision is hosting a sweepstakes contest on the game’s official Web site. This sweepstakes contest gives fans a chance to win a Wii or DS console and a copy of the game.

How to Train Your Dragon the video game is available across the US and retails at 49.99 USD (approx. Rs. 2,270) for the PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii. The Nintendo DS version retails for about 29.99 USD (approx. Rs. 1,360).
