A World of Keflings to be Invaded by Alien DLC

NinjaBee has announced that A World of Keflings is soon to be endowed with a new DLC titled ‘It Came From Outer Space’ which will add an alien-themed kingdom to the game. This is the first such content to be released for the Xbox Live title which was launched in December last year.

The ‘It Came From Outer Space’ DLC will apparently feature a ‘full cast’ of Kefling-sized alien characters and an ‘entirely new’ kingdom. Gamers can play as their Xbox Live avatars and they will be required to put together a complete alien city for the extra-terrestrial creatures. A World of Keflings is now available for purchase through Xbox Live.

Mike Nielsen, lead designer on the DLC, revealed, “Aliens have crash-landed in the Kefling world and you and the Keflings need to use your mad building skills to get them home. You’ll be building giant robots, crazy alien structures, and even robotic Keflings all in the name of repairing their mother ship. There’s plenty of new stuff to explore – a new kingdom, new characters, new resources, new buildings… It’s pretty substantial.”

This game is a sequel to NinjaBee’s 2008 Xbox Live release titled A Kingdom for Keflings which was subsequently ported to PC last year. In this game, the Keflings who are described as a small race of human-like creatures must be aided by players in their process of creating a kingdom. It currently sells on Xbox Live at 800 Microsoft Points.

Pricing and availability details of the ‘It Came From Outer Space’ DLC for A World of Keflings are yet to be revealed by NinjaBee. Akin to its predecessor, this title too retails on Xbox Live at 800 Microsoft Points.
