Guitar Hero: Metallica Demo Available on Xbox Live

Guitar Hero fans waiting for the latest in the series, Guitar Hero: Metallica can finally get a taste of the game. Activision Publishing has announced that a demo of Guitar Hero: Metallica is available on Xbox Live Marketplace for the Xbox 360 as a free download. The demo allows players to rock at the venue, The Forum and play in Face-Off, Pro Face-Off, single-player and band Quickplay, head-to-head and Battle gameplay modes. The demo also offers players the chance to get acquainted with the custom camera angles featured in the game.

Guitar Hero Metallica

Guitar Hero: Metallica features 21 rock artists, most handpicked by Metallica themselves, and serves to highlight the band’s illustrious career. The game lets players use the guitar drums and microphone to rock out at several locations featured on the band’s album covers. Guitar Hero: Metallica gives gamers access to more than 45 hits from Metallica and other artists chosen by them, such as Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band, Queen, Foo Fighters, Alice in Chains and System of A Down.

It is being developed for the Xbox 360 and PS3 by Neversoft Entertainment and for the PS2 and Nintendo Wii by Budcat Creations. The Xbox 360, Wii and PS3 versions are set to be released on March 29, 2009 in the US and the PS2 version is expected to release on May 24, 2009.
