Sonic the Hedgehog is Sega’s iconic mascot. His sidekick Knuckles has featured along with him in many games. Now we have word that Sonic & Knuckles, the classic Sega title has released on the Xbox Live Arcade.
Sonic the Hedgehog, and Knuckles the Echidna are back from the brink and they team up in this high speed platform adventure title on the Xbox Live Arcade. Players must seek out and acquire the Master Emerald and save Angel Island. The new Sonic & Knuckles allows gamers to player as Sonic or Knuckles as they carry out “bare-fisted attacks” and glides. The game features eight new zones and two different adventures.
Developed by Sonic Team and published by Sega, the re-mastered version of Sonic & Knuckles for the Xbox Live Arcade features HD support, and online multiplayer. The game is available starting today September 9, 2009 for 400 Microsoft Points. Xbox Live Gold membership is required in order to play the online multiplayer.
