Korean Warcraft III Player signs Multi-million Contract

Jae Ho ‘Moon’ Jang has become the current highest paid Warcraft III player after signing a three year deal with WeMade Fox for a sum of seven hundred million won. He is now the second highest paid player coming in some 50 million won behind Yoon Yeol ‘NaDa’ Lee who had been paid seven hundred and fifty million won for Starcraft in 2007.

In the press conference Moon remarked, “I am honored to play for a Korea professional gaming team for Koreans. As setting good circumstance of playing, I will give everything to my fans and Fox team by winning lots of titles in 2009.”

Meanwhile the WeMade Fox manager stated, “We are concerned with it (training). There aren’t many first class players in Korea, and the training condition is pretty poor so players usually train with foreign players. We will introduce more quality players in the near future so I am quite confident of our training scheme.”

Jae Ho ‘Moon’ Jang had spent three years playing for Meet Your Makers, a team that discontinued the Warcraft III and Starcraft squads earlier in January citing “strategy concern”. Moon lapped up the chance to play for a Korean team and who wouldn’t for 700,000,000 won, which is nearly 25 million rupees and a little over 470,000 USD.
