PES 2013 release date Disclosed, misses clash with FIFA 13 by 1 week

The PES 2013 release date for its PS3, Xbox 360 and PC versions in Europe is set for September 21, which is exactly one week prior to that of its rival, FIFA 13. These aren’t the only three platforms the game is slated to arrive on. The launch dates for its PSP, PS2, 3DS and Wii versions will be announced later on.

This new title in the Pro Evolution Soccer series marks the debut of the new PES Full Control feature which is said to grant players ‘unrivalled’ level of control of the game. It will provide players with full manual control over each of their passes and shots. And there’s another fresh trait making its way into the game in the form of Pro Active AI. It supposedly enables players to move and react as they would in real life.

The Player ID system from this title aims at making famous footballers recognizable in-game by the way they look, move and play. Recently, Konami had revealed the game’s exclusive pre-order bonuses. Those who reserve their copies from select retailers will get their discs packed in a special UEFA Champions League steelbook case. Moreover, it also kicks in a special DLC code for unlocking historic UEFA Champions League match balls. Only in the UK, a separate Manchester United-themed steelbook edition is available for pre-order. It bears the club’s livery on its cover.

Although the PES 2013 release date for Europe has been revealed to be September 21, 2012, the North American date is still to be revealed by Konami.
