Tour Golf Online First Screen Shots Released

Online Golf looks all set to receive new dimensions with CryEngine3 graphics aimed at furnishing gamers with an experience which is the next best thing to actually being on the green as claimed by its creators. GamesCampus and OnNet, the developers of Tour Golf Online recently unveiled first screenshots of the free-to-play online game.

The graphics in the game have detailed weather conditions as well as golf gear which are designed through OnNet’s own Trajectory Engine. Gamers will get to compete in tournaments through a gameplay which is being designed by observing real world golf scenarios.

Kevin Kim, CEO of GamesCampus.com, mentioned, “It was important to utilize the amazing CryEngine3 technology in the development of Tour Golf Online because our goal with the game was to take the online golf experience to a whole new level with superior graphics and gameplay that offer the player a feeling of almost physically being right there on the green.”

The screenshots reveal an environment complete with water hazards as well as bunkers. The developers also claim that the game will see life-like climates which evident through the screenshots.

“Our talented development team has done an amazing job building training areas that have been painstakingly recreated from the real-world courses where the pros practice during tournaments, along with life-like climates and weather, state of the art gear and more, we are proud to add this amazing title to the GamesCampus portal”, Kevin Kim later added.

Tour Golf Online, will be made available by GamesCampus and OnNet in 2012.
