FIFA 11 to feature Creation Centre, Custom Audio option

Much has been said about EA Sports’ upcoming football title FIFA 11, with many fans vocalising their thoughts about what the next in the series should add. Well it seems EA Sports has been listening as the division of Electronic Arts has unveiled a new feature set to make its way in FIFA 11 called Creation Centre. The feature will provide football fans the tools to create and customise content in FIFA 11 on the Xbox 360 and PS3.

Gamers will be able to create a virtual player customizing appearance, accessories, and attributes, and then build an original team complete with a unique crest and kits, as well as a home stadium. Fans will also be able to share their created players and teams with friends and use them to play online. That’s not all. Users will have the ability to control team formations and tactics from the web.

“Having the ability to customize content in FIFA 11 to the degree where you are creating players and teams, choosing player attributes and managing team tactics effortlessly from the web opens up a world of possibilities of original content that fans will be able to create,” David Rutter, Producer of FIFA 11 on Xbox 360 and PS3 explained. “Creation Centre will perfectly compliment the official league and team licenses that are the hallmark of the FIFA franchise.”

Another feature trickling its way into FIFA 11 is the Custom Audio option many players have asked for. EA seems to have taken the suggestions to the next level. And players will be able to assign chants for every team and league in the game. Gamers can set their chants and anthems to play during player introductions, halftime and upon scoring goals in home games. Fans will also be allowed to play their own collection of music in the game taken right from their console hard drive.

FIFA 11 is scheduled to release for the PS3, Xbox 360, PC, PS2, DS, PSP, and mobile in North America on September 28, 2010 and in Europe and Asia on October 1, 2010. The Wii version will release on October 1, 2010 in Europe and Asia and in North America on October 4, 2010.
