Defensive Keys help a user to stop a play from being made by making the defense focus on a chosen offensive player. Gameplanning lets the users choose from 6 defensive and 5 attacking formations to suit their individual playing styles. The Enhanced Defensive Lineman Moves feature allows users to control their defensive linemen using the right stick so that the linemen can block passes and pressurize quarterbacks. Defensive Player Assist allows users to put a player on defense under the CPU’s control so that they can take time and plan the next move.

TeamBuilder is a feature which allows the users to create custom content that can be used in NCAA Football 10. With the help of this feature, users can now create teams, customize team uniforms, rosters, fields and even upload logos. It also allows users to share their own custom creations. There already are over 80,000 teams which have been built using the TeamBuilder feature by fans anticipating the release of the game.

The demo is available for Xbox 360 and PS3 and EA plans to release the full version of NCAA Football 10 on July 14, 2009, while prices have not yet been announced. Original packaging of the game will include a code which unlocks 12 TeamBuilder slots. Users who order the game before its release will receive a code which unlocks an additional 13 team slots. These slots can then be used to save 25 created teams on the console’s hard drive.
