Electronic Arts (EA) has sent word that their eagerly awaited skating game, SKATE will release on September 21, 2007 in Europe for the Xbox 360. The PS3 version will come out a little later on October 12, 2007. A SKATE demo will be put on the Xbox Live Marketplace on August 15, 2007.
This SKATE demo will include tutorials and gameplay challenges in San Vanelona’s community center skatepark to introduce gamers to SKATE’s revolutionary Flickit controls. Not only that, it also has the innovative skate.reel feature, which will allow gamers to capture video footage of their skate session at any time during the demo and share the footage online for other players to view, rate and comment on.
SKATE has won many awards and gamers who are looking for an alternative to the Tony Hawk series will love the game. The USP of SKATE is the Flickit controls that take advantage of the dual analog sticks and the capability it gives gamers to carve tricks that define their own style.
