Only 10,000 copies of the Persona 4 Golden Solid Gold Premium Edition are available to pre-order currently in North America. Priced at 69.99 USD (approx. Rs. 3,885), this bundle will come equipped with a number of goodies designed along the lines of the JRPG which has met with quite some praise ever since its Japanese release.
It will include a copy of the title alongside a customized Hori hard pouch for the Vita which guards the handheld’s screen and also offers a flap for storing game cards. A lightweight Hori face cover is also comprised within the package, proffering players protection for the Vita without blocking any major buttons. Moreover, a PS Vita skin also makes its way into the special edition along with eight exclusive wallpapers to match it. This skin is also being offered as a pre-order bonus for the game.
Aram Jabbari, Manager of Public Relations and Sales, Atlus, wrote on the official PlayStation blog, “Devotees may recognize these items as the same ones made available in Japan, and they’d be right! These are exactly the same special set of accessories made by Hori for the Japanese game, down to the use of the overseas title, Persona 4 The Golden. The Solid Gold Premium Edition will not be remanufactured. We’re projecting it will sell out and very likely in short order, so if you’re interested in owning a huge piece of ATLUS gaming history, pre-ordering from a participating retailer is highly advised!”
Lastly, the Persona 4 Golden Solid Gold Premium Edition will also kick in a set of stickers featuring popular stars from the title. The game is being brought to western territories by Atlus, the publisher which has been quite involved in releasing popular Japanese titles in other parts of the globe.
The Persona 4 Golden Solid Gold Premium Edition will be launched for the PS Vita along with its standard copies in October this year.
