PSP sales outranked Nintendo DS’ for the year 2010 and according to various speculations, the release of Monster Hunter Portable 3 in the month of December greatly influenced it’s sales figure. As noted by Joystiq, Sony has revealed release dates and other details regarding three new PSP-3000 bundles in Japan. These are Dissidia 012 ‘Chaos & Cosmos’, Monster Hunter Portable 3rd in two color variants and the PSP Value Pack For Girls.
The Dissidia 012 ‘Chaos & Cosmos’ pack includes a Pearl White PSP customized with what appears to be Yoshitaka Amano character art. Secondly, the two Monster Hunter Portable 3rd bundles releasing in Japan will be available in black-red and white-red colors. This New Hunters Pack contains the Monster Hunter Portable 3rd game and an exclusive cleaning cloth. The third bundle is the PSP Value Pack For Girls which includes a pink PSP, a carrying case surfacing a small bow, pink earbuds and a pink cleaning cloth.
The Dissidia pack will be available across Japan starting March 3, 2011 and will carry a price tag of 275 USD (approx. Rs. 12,477). Gamers intrigued by the New Hunters Pack can obtain it for 238 USD (approx. Rs. 10,798) from February 10, 2011 whereas the PSP Value Pack For Girls will retail for 238 USD (approx. Rs. 10,814) as well and will release on February 17, 2011.
