Valkyria Chronicles is noted to be a tactical role-playing game that was exclusively fashioned for the PS3 and released by late 2008. We had reported that the sequel to the title is expected to release for the PSP by this year. Now according to the official Sega blog, exclusive pre-order DLC has been announced for Valkyria Chronicles II.
The exclusive DLC comes in the form of complementary missions that will release alongside the game. The offering comprises of Exercise vs. Class E which is an exterminatory war exercise that takes place against rival class E. In order to successfully win this challenge, players must defeat all foes within the various areas of the Leanbluff Forest.
The other DLC is Exercise vs. Class F which is a defense exercise fought against rival class F. To emerge victorious, gamers will need to break through their defense and capture their encampment.
The events featured in Valkyria Chronicles II pick up two years after the original epic strategy game concluded. A few Gallian Military Academy cadets find themselves in the midst of a new civil war when a coup by the Gallian Revolutionary Army takes place. The PSP title is packed with various emotions such as love, friendship and growing pains with revolution and war looming in the background.
Players will be able to acquire the Valkyria Chronicles II pre-order DLC from the PlayStation Network when the game unveils on August 31, 2010.
