Monsters (Probably) Stole My Princess! Hits the PSN shortly

Mediatonic is an indie games studio located at London in the United Kingdom. The director of games Paul Croft posted on the official PlayStation blog that the company would soon unveil a new game to the PSP Minis service entitled Monsters (Probably) Stole My Princess!

The game lets players take on the role of a powerful aristocratic demon called The Duke. He awakens to find that his Princess is suddenly missing. He has no clue as to her whereabouts and assumes that monsters were behind her disappearance. As he sets out in search for his beloved princess, he battles scores of monsters wholly at random.

The Story mode sees the mighty Duke fighting with monsters all along six different levels. The Score Attack mode comprises of eighteen unique levels which can be unlocked by simply achieving target scores. The main protagonist rewards himself depending on how stylish his moves were executed while beating up monsters and completing each level.

While playing through the game, players can attain a combo which heightens the total number of earned points as well as the speed of the game. In order to get the most amount of points, the Duke has to touch all the platforms and even defeat the monster, all before he makes his escapes.

Monsters (Probably) Stole My Princess! is the first PSP game formulated by Mediatonic. Its packed with minute details, a couple of secrets and loads of humor. The exact release date or price of the game is still under wraps by the company.
