Once again delivering a nostalgic shooting experience in a video game, SNK Playmore USA has divulged its new topdown shoot‘em up ‘NeoGeo Heroes: Ultimate Shooting’ for the PSP which is purchasable only from the PSN.
NeoGeo Heroes-Ultimate Shooting features a multi-ending story with the Taunt System, a challenge mode to unlock artwork and badges as well as a multiplayer battle mode. The game also enables players to execute a variety of electrifying Special moves with any of the 10 SNK characters such as Mai Shiranui from Fatal Fury, Iori Yagami from The King of Fighters, Terry Bogard from Fatal Fury, Akari Ichijo from Last Blade, Athena Asamiya from Psycho Soldier – The King of Fighters and Marco Rossi from Metal Slug. Others include Kula Diamond from The King of Fighters and Iroha from Samurai Shodown along with SYDIII from Armored Scrum Object.
As these 10 heroes leave their worlds and respond the Dr. Brown Sugar’s ‘call for peace’, players will take control of these NeoGeo legends and visit the skies to protect the world from the threat of an evil organization, ‘The Damned’, which conspires to use a time machine for its maleficent purposes. An exclusive Museum Mode is also ported within the game that puts up the game’s development and ending artwork, bosses and heroes’ profile and story on display, along with a ‘Music’ section for enjoying the in-game music and ‘rankings’ for players to track their progress on the board.
