Ready at Dawn, the independent developer who had a hand in some of the PSP’s best titles, Daxter in 2006 and God of War: Chains of Olympus in 2008, previously waved away all requests for more PSP titles. In fact they sent the PSP development kits back to Sony in the summer of 2008, but Sony apparently shipped them their new PSP development kits in late 2008. And Ready at Dawn were reconsidering their decision to leave the PSP scene.
It seems that a rumor suggests that Ready at Dawn may be developing a new God of War game for the PSP. Gaming blog Joystiq reported about this gossip. Apparently, a trustworthy source has informed them about the goings-on at Ready at Dawn and that we could expect official word at the E3 Expo in June.
As for the release of the new God of War game, not much is known, but we could see it in 2010 as it seems unlikely that the game will be released anytime this year. The co-founder and president of Ready at Dawn, Didier Malenfant commented to the effect that he could not give any information at the moment.
