Yesterday we had reported that Sony Computer Entertainment Japan (SCEJ) was going to release a Red PlayStation 2 in Japan. Japanese gamers can now expect a different colored PlayStation Portable as SCEJ has sent word that they will be coming out with Metallic Blue PSP.
That’s not all! Sony will introduce two Blue PSP packs. One is the PSP Metallic Blue Value Pack, which is basically a starter pack that comes with a 32MB Memory Stick Duo, as well as a D Terminal AV Cable. Then we have the PSP Metallic Blue 1 Seg Pack that features a Seg tuner and a 1GB Memory Stick PRO Duo amongst other things.
Coming to the prices, PSP Metallic Blue Value Pack comes with a price tag of 23,800 yen including tax (approx. Rs. 9, 625) while the PSP Metallic Blue 1 Seg Pack is a tad expensive and costs 29,800 yen including tax (approx. Rs. 12, 050). The blue PSP is expected to be out by July 17th, 2008.
