July’s free PS Plus games revealed

The added benefits of owning a PS Plus membership of course include the free games that Sony dishes out every month, not just for the PS4, but also for the PS3 and the PS Vita. This month’s batch includes some interesting titles, while the weekend will also see Destiny 2 being made free for a limited period of time. This, in addition to the Call of Duty: Black Ops III giveaway that is already underway.

Coming back to the free PS Plus games in July, they include Heavy Rain and Absolver for the PS4. Sony has probably chosen Heavy Rain for those who liked its developer Quantic Dream’s recently released game, Detroit: Become Human. Heavy Rain is an action-adventure title characterized by a non-linear story centered around a serial killer. This title was released way back in 2010, and had received immense acclaim at launch.

As for Absolver, it’s a martial arts-focused action-RPG that was released last year. This open world game is known for its unique approach to combat which involves building custom moves for your characters. On the menu for PS3 owners is 2015’s Deception IV: The Nightmare Princess and 2012’s Rayman 3 HD. PS Vita owners with Plus accounts will be given free copies of Space Overlords and Zero Escape: Zero Time Dilemma.

Like we mentioned above, those who wish to play Destiny 2 will be able to do so for free. This promotion will be available from June 29 through July 2, so you better ready some space on your PS4’s hard drive. Call of Duty: Black Ops III is already being offered for free to PS Plus subscribers, and this promotion is set to end on July 11.
