One of the most awaited games for PlayStation fans, LittleBigPlanet 3 has been hit with a delay, albeit only for its European version. Both the PS4 as well as PS3 editions will be entering the region on November 26 instead of November 19. However, the delay does not affect the North American version in any way, as it will still be releasing on November 18. While revealing this news, the game’s developers did not provide any particular reason for the push in the launch date.

They did however say, that it was a ”˜very difficult’ decision to take. Through a post on the official PlayStation blog, one of the game’s developers said that moving LittleBigPlanet 3’s release date forward will give ”˜Sackboy the best opportunity to shine.’ The puzzle-platformer cum sandbox game is being created by Sumo Digital with assistance from Media Molecule and XDev Europe, and it features single-player as well as multiplayer content.
Apart from the series’ main attraction, Sackboy, this game will also see the entry of three new characters. LittleBigPlanet 3 will transpire on a new planet in the LBP universe, named Bunkum. Described as a creative paradise, this planet is now inhabited by three evil Titans which were released unknowingly by Sackboy and his new friends. They must now stop them in their tracks in order to save Bunkum from further destruction.
Like we said, the European version of LittleBigPlanet 3 will now be arriving on November 26 instead of November 19. This applies to both the PS3 as well as PS4 versions of the game.
