This year’s surprise hit of a platformer, Guacamelee! is now getting warmed up for its next dose of add-on content titled the El Diablo’s Domain DLC. It will be released for Guacamelee! this week through PSN, and will have its price set at 2.99 USD (approx. Rs. 180). While it already seems to have landed in North America, gamers in Europe will get to download it later today.

The El Diablo’s Domain DLC for Guacamelee! infuses the game with a total of 17 new trials as well as three fresh outfits for protagonists Juan and Tostada. One of the new outfits has been modeled around the colorful training clothes worn by noted Mexican soccer player, Jorge Campos, whereas another one is based on Mexican folk art. The third outfit on the other hand, is Diablo himself.
This information has been brought to the fore by Gamespot by means of a video preview which can be spotted in the space below. This is not the first time Guacamelee! is receiving add-on content, for it had also been granted a Costume Pack DLC sometime back. The game had seen its original release for the PS3 and the PS Vita on April 9 this year.
The story of Guacamelee! revolves around a Mexican luchadore wrestler who is on a quest to save the world after El Presidente’s Daughter gets kidnapped by an Evil Charro Skeleton named Carlos Calaca. It’s an action-based platformer with elements like melee combat, a dimension switching mechanic and cooperative same-screen multiplayer gameplay.
Like we said, the Guacamelee! El Diablo’s Domain DLC is live now on North American PSN, and is expected to be made available in Europe soon.
