Joe Danger 2 for the PS3 is all set to be doled out for free to all North American PS Plus subscribers, as revealed through a post on the official PlayStation blog. And that’s not all; there’s a massive Ubisoft sale slated to go online later today, which should grant price cuts on the publisher’s games for usual PSN account holders as well as Plus subscribers, with the latter players getting bigger cuts than the former ones.
Joe Danger 2: The Movie had hit the PS3 in October last year, and it has now become the latest entry to the company’s Instant Game Collection promotion that is aimed at Plus members. Created by independent developer Hello Games, it is a racing platformer which acts as a follow-up to the hit original game released for the first time back in 2010. Non-Plus players can purchase it through the PS Store at 14.99 USD (approx. Rs. 810).
There’s also a 20 percent discount on Scott Pilgrim vs. The World Ultimate Edition for these gamers. This brings its cost down to 11.99 USD (approx. Rs. 650) from 14.99 USD (approx. Rs. 810). Besides, the same title’s Wallace Wells Add-On Pack will even be offered with a 20 percent cut to Plus subscribers. This will bring its value down to 3.99 USD (approx. Rs. 215) from 4.99 USD (approx. Rs. 270).
Coming to the big Ubisoft Sale, it should be noted that this will be lasting only for a week. While 30 percent discounts will be granted to all PSN account holders, Plus members will be getting straight half-off prices on some prominent games from the publisher’s lineup. Some of the important ones among them include Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood, the Prince of Persia Trilogy, Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Classic Trilogy HD, Rayman Origins, Shoot Many Robots and I Am Alive.
Moreover, this list also comprises PS Vita and PSP titles such as Dungeon Hunter Alliance, Assassin’s Creed: Bloodlines, Asphalt: Injection, Brothers in Arms D-Day and more. The highlight among all this is definitely the free download of Joe Danger 2 which had grabbed quite some acclaim from gamers and critics alike when it had been launched for the first time last year.
