Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath HD to get Support for 3D and PS Move with new Update

Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath HD will get a big update next week which will bestow the much loved game with support for 3D visuals as well as the PS Move accessory. This upgrade, which also contains other features and fixes for technical issues, will be available to download for automatically once the game starts.

All the visuals of the title will be displayed in full stereoscopic 3D, provided gamers own compatible TV sets. With the PS Move accessory, actions like pointing and firing from crossbows will be enabled to be performed using the motion-controlled device. Moreover, this update will also add a new trait that will let players record videos of their victories, failures or candid moments and upload them directly to YouTube.

“Next week sees the long-awaited patch to Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath HD go live on PSN. The first time you run the game after the patch launches, you’ll automatically download and be able to enjoy all the latest features and fixes,” read a post on the official Oddworld blog.

Support for brightness and gamma controls will also be included within this update, enabling gamers to change the visibility according to their conveniences. Even other features like fixes for the game’s sound issues, increased crosshair visibility and improvements to the quicksave and autosave attributes will be addressed. Additional gameplay-relevant subtitling in English, French, Italian, German and Spanish languages will also make its way into the title with this download.

The new update for Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath HD will be doled out via PSN from June 27 onwards.
