Devil May Cry: HD Collection Hitting Retail for PS3 This Week

This week’s PS3 releases are highlighted by Capcom’s Devil May Cry: HD Collection which comprises high-definition remakes of the first three DMC titles. I Am Alive, which is already available through Xbox Live, will also go live on PSN along with other offerings like Wheels of Destruction: World Tour and The Price Is Right: Decades.

Devil May Cry, Devil May Cry 2, and Devil May Cry 3: Dante’s Awakening Special Edition are the three offerings that are included in the DMC: HD Collection. Needless to mention, all these titles will come equipped with trophies as well as other added content. Ubisoft’s I Am Alive is a survival horror offering which is said to challenge gamers with its environment and enemies. This PSN game was earlier release through the Xbox Live House Party program.

The Price Is Right: Decades brings the features of the hit TV show to consoles with pricing games such as ”˜Plinko,’ ”˜The Big Wheel’ and ”˜Showcases.’ Another one of this week’s PSN releases is Wheels of Destruction: World Tour. Said to be set in a lawless and post-apocalyptic world, this game includes a demolish-or-be-demolished competition. Online competitions with modes like Capture the Flag and Deathmatch will be made available with the title.

According to the official PlayStation blog, three free demos will also be hitting PSN this week. These include those of Warp, Time Machine: Rogue Pilot and I Am Alive. And the two PS minis that are ready to launch are Canabalt and Farm Frenzy 2.

The Devil May Cry: HD Collection will be released through retail this week for the PS3 with a price tag of 39.99 USD (approx. Rs. 2,040). Pricing for the other titles mentioned above are yet to be revealed.
