Section 8: Prejudice Arrives on PS3

Section 8: Prejudice has already received an Xbox 360 and PC release earlier this year. And now PSN users will get to experience this FPS developed by TimeGate Studios. Dubbing its title as ‘the biggest $15 game of the year’, the developer announced that Section 8: Prejudice will be available for download on PSN for the PS3.

Gamers who purchase the title during the first week will be treated with a free Blitz Armor Pack containing two armor skins and an Overdrive Map Pack that puts two new multiplayer maps into the game. Moreover, PS Plus subscribers who purchase the game will receive an exclusive in-game Hunter Armor. And that’s not all! The first 1000 Plus members to download the title will get a free copy of the original Section 8 game.

Section 8: Prejudice will include a total of five game modes comprising of the new Assault and Skirmish modes. Apart from those the Campaign mode will offer gamers a minimum of five hours of single-player gameplay. The Conquest mode allows up to 40 gamers to participate at a time while the Swarm is a four player co-op mode. All game modes have additional bot support for gamers who wish to play offline.

The game is a sequel to the popular 2009 title Section 8 and features its Dynamic Combat Mission trait which ensures that there’s something different in every multiplayer game. Apart from that, it offers various customization options for weapons and equipment loadouts. A stats portal lets players track their lifetime statistics, join Clans and compete in TimeGate-run events.

Section 8: Prejudice can currently be downloaded from PSN on the PS3 and is priced at 14.99 USD (approx Rs. 660).
