For all those who’re looking to pick up PS3 accessories, this might just be the best time of the year to do so, as the PlayStation Play Days are underway now, offering up to fifty percent discounts on peripherals for the console. As part of its holiday celebrations, Sony will be doling out PS3 accessories like PS Move controllers, Bluetooth headsets, PlayStation Move Sharp Shooters and more at reduced rates.
According to a post on the official PlayStation blog, the PS Move motion controller can now be scooped up by gamers at 39.99 USD, while the PS Move Navigation controller and the PS Move Charging Station retail at 29.99 USD each, marking a 10 USD price drop on all three of these peripherals. On the other hand, the PlayStation Move Sharp Shooter receives a 20 USD discount, taking its new price down to 19.99 USD. Moreover, Sports Champions and Deadmund’s Quest Bundle and the LittleBigPlanet Move Bundle are being offered at 79.99 USD and 99.99 USD respectively.
Richard Ho, Associate Product Marketing Manager, said on the blog, “The PS3 system provides a great entertainment experience on its own, with high-definition gaming and other great features like video streaming and access to a huge library of movies, games, and shows via the PlayStation Network, but PS3 accessories add another great way to enhance your gaming and entertainment experience.”
Furthermore, the Wireless Stereo Headset and the Bluetooth Headset (black), both get 10 USD price cuts through the PlayStation Play Days, and they now retail at 89.99 USD and 39.99 USD, correspondingly. Other accessories such as the Media/Blu-ray Disc Remote Control, PlayStation 3D Glasses, 6.5ft HDMI cable, DualShock 3 Charging Station and Wireless Keypad are also being offered at reduced rates.
All the above mentioned discounts of the PlayStation Play Days are currently being tendered by retailers like Amazon, Best Buy, Sony, GameStop and more. These price cuts are however only valid till January 21, 2012.
