PS3 Child of Eden Delayed Until September?

Ubisoft’s extensive lineup for the Kinect has been grabbing headlines in the domain for some time now. Making it a point to reveal a thing or two about its creations, the company has showcased them at various events including this year’s PAX East and the Tokyo Game Show held in 2010. One of the games from the roster namely Child of Eden was announced for both the Xbox 360 and the PS3. Apparently, the title’s PS3 version has met with a road block.

According to IGN, Child of Eden’s release on the PS3 has been deferred until September. Reportedly, the game ‘is still in development for the system’ and will be equipped with support for the PlayStation Move. What this means is that, just like the Kinect, PS3 owners will have the opportunity to immerse in the world of motion sensing gaming through Child of Eden’s gameplay. Touted to be a rhythm action title, it has been crafted by Tetsuya Mizuguchi and Q Entertainment.

While PS3 gamers aren’t so lucky, Child of Eden will rush in for the Xbox 360 on June 14 across the US.
