Ra.One: The Game to Invade PS2 and PS3 systems

Sci-fi films being converted into games isn’t a novel idea for the gaming industry. But Bollywood seemingly has never been a source of inspiration for such titles. Ra.One: The Game which is based on the movie Ra.One is under development for PS2 and PS3 consoles. The title will star Shah Rukh Khan and will be available to download via PSN.

Ra.One: The Game

The game which is roughly a prequel to the film will act as a vehicle to introduce its key characters and their super-powers. Development of the title is under active supervision of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe. In order for the game to have a connection with the movie its storyline is being written by Shah Rukh Khan who will also provide actual voice-overs for the title.

Gamers can play either as Ra.One or G.One while the film’s other characters will also make an entry into the title. The game includes multi-player action levels among other game modes allowing players to participate in various matches within the Ra.One Universe.

While the film is slated to release on October 26, 2011, Ra.One: The Game for PS2 and PS3 will release in India and other key markets on September 11, 2011.
