As reported earlier, the Hub element will make its debut on PS Home today. It will host a featured game front-and-center, an Activity Board and stores which would offer games, personal spaces in addition to avatar enhancements. From the Hub, gamers enter various Districts that comprise exclusive games and content based on their names.

The Action District will be ‘reminiscent’ of a first-person shooter level and will provide gamers with PlayStation Home Total Game integration. This means that by completing certain objectives, they can unlock content for specific games. While the Sportswalk section would feature scores and headlines of sports events, the Adventure District will consist of unlockable content for adventure based games. On the other hand, the Pier Park district will direct gamers to puzzle, outdoor and arcade titles.

Alternatively, this new update will also include the PlayStation Home Theater which will provide gamers with video content. The PlayStation Home Mall will act as a shopping destination wherein, players can buy featured content.
