Mobile games publisher Infinite Dreams has announced a brand new treat for Sony PSP and PS3 console owners. The company has divulged details pertaining to the acclaimed title Sky Force for Sony’s Minis platform. Besides revealing the exact release date, it has also put forth a new gameplay video and screenshots.
Sky Force is looked upon as an ultimate classic arcade shooter packed with various engaging elements. These include outstanding graphics, foot-tapping soundtrack, special effects and 3D interactive objects among other goodies. Players must traverse through amazingly pixeled levels in order to save the earth from a terrible threat. There are loads of fiendish enemies to annihilate during gameplay.
According to the company, the upcoming title is based on hybrid 2D/3D graphics which is great for appealing to the mobile market. The 2D backgrounds are neatly integrated with completely textured 3D objects strewn across the game. PSP and PS3 owners can take advantage of eight stages that each conclude with a big boss battle.
Sky Force is scheduled to enter the European PlayStation Store on January 5, 2010 tagged with a price of 2.99 Euros (approx. Rs. 177).
