Late last month, an Xbox 360 laptop fashioned by a member of the Ben Heck forums, CollinE was put on eBay. Now following on those lines, a PS3 Slim laptop bearing same similarities was put up on eBay a couple of days back. According to Technabob, the latest spotted mod is fashioned by none other than Benjamin Heckendorn.
Ben Heck as nicknamed, is noted to be a whiz at taking apart different consoles and making a whole new offering with them. The PS3 Slim laptop in particular is a PS3 system incorporated into a 17 inch widescreen LCD display package which resembles a laptop. The complete Ben Heck product is highly portable in nature as well.
The coveted PS3 mod was put up for grabs on eBay by altfeldtoy. He apparently won the PS3 Slim laptop ‘in a giveaway at a local business’. He seemed to give up this piece of artwork citing the reason that PS3 gaming didn’t fancy him too much.
The gaming product received a good response on the online auction site and the current bid stood at $3,050 (approx. Rs.142,160). Apparently now when the eBay link to the PS3 Slim laptop is clicked, the page displays a message stating, “This listing (330390006316) has been removed, or this item is not available.”
