Trine Available This Week on PSN

Trine is the action puzzle-platform side scrolling title for the PC and PlayStation Network, with a XBLA version in the works from Atlus. Now Olivier Vermeille, Product Manager for Trine at Nobilis writes on the PlayStation Blog that Trine will be coming to the PlayStation Network this week for the US.

The game merges 2D gameplay with 3D graphics and delivers an action-platform experience. In the game three heroes are bound to the Trine, a mysterious device, in a bid to save the kingdom from the evil forces. Players can at any time, freely choose which of the three is best suited to complete a certain puzzle or challenge, and switch between them.

Puzzles in the game can be solved in many different ways, due in part to the extensive use of physics. Up to three players can play simultaneously on the same system, and there is even a host of Trophies, with a Platinum Trophy as the ultimate reward.

Trine will be released on the PlayStation Network this Thursday, October 22, 2009 and will be available on the PlayStation Store for a price of 19.99 USD (approx. Rs. 920).
