Sony releases firmware updates for the PS3 for a variety of reasons, such as to sort out any issue that might creep up or to make the interface more easy to use and convenient. Now website ScrawlFX is reporting that a major update is on the cards, and it is to include Facebook integration, as well as the ability to change your gamercard colours and more.
According to the website, an anonymous tipster has sent them images which seem to confirm this. The leaked images apparently show the ability to manage your Facebook account in the PlayStation Network account settings, and a new and better way of going through you photos stored on the device.
The website also claims to have themselves found pictures of these on the official UK PlayStation website, but the images have since been pulled. But posting pictures on the official website if they are intended for some other purpose seems like too big a faux pas.
