Gaming tournaments on consoles? Well, that’s a concept that Indian gamers have known only from the last two to three years. Earlier, it just used to be Counter-Strike, Need for Speed and FIFA on the PC. But from the time the FIFA Interactive World Cup has been announced for India, gamers here have been a happy lot.
This time around they will be taking on fellow gamers on FIFA 09 by EA Sports at the FIFA Interactive World Cup 2009 India. And yes, all the action takes place on PlayStation 3 consoles. Here is the schedule of FIWC 2009 India:
Delhi: November 29 & 30 (Iskcon Hare Krishna Hill).
Pune: December 6 & 7 (11th East Street Café).
Bangalore: December 6 & 7 (Good Shepard School).
Mumbai: December 13 & 14 (National College).
