Finally, Sony has announced the launch of the official Grand Theft Auto IV (GTA IV) bundle. This game is exclusively available for PlayStation 3 in the European market. In the box, gamers will find new a PlayStation 3 40GB model, a SIXAXIS wireless controller and a copy of Grand Theft Auto IV.
The newly announced game is the eleventh, upcoming title of the genre-defining Grand Theft Auto video game franchise.
David Reeves, President, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, stated “We are delighted to offer the millions of PS3 and GTA fans the ultimate gaming package.”
Sony said that the official Grand Theft Auto IV bundle will be available for purchase on April 29, 2008. It will be priced at €439 (approx. Rs. 28,100). The company also mentions that the retailers will deliver the order on the same day of release.
The story of Grand Theft Auto IV, which is developed by Rockstar North, is written by Rockstar co-founder Dan Houser. The action-adventure video game will be the first in the series to utilize the new RACE game engine.
It also believed that the Grand Theft Auto IV, which is developed by Rockstar North, will be released for Xbox 360 on the same day.
