Rocketmen: Axis of Evil Coming to PSN and XBLA, says Capcom

Very rarely do you see a game being released for the Xbox Live Arcade (XBLA) as well as the PlayStation Network (PSN). Capcom has sent word that Rocketmen: Axis of Evil will be up on the XBLA and PSN this week. The game is a multiplayer arcade shooter and is based on the WizKids cartoon and constructible strategy game of the same name.

Rocketmen: Axis of Evil is an arcade-style overhead shooter. The story, which looks quite engaging, follows the heroes of the Alliance of Free Planets, who are fighting against the authoritarian grasp of the Legion of Terra. Gamers can expect an assortment of mini games, which allow players to instantaneously jump into existing games. The game will support up to four players online.

Rocketmen: Axis of Evil has lots of levels along with hordes of enemies as well as huge bosses. Gamers will be able to customize their characters and will get extra items and abilities by completing a range of quests. The game features both male as well as female characters across three races, Human, Mercurian or Venusian. The arcade shooter also has three classes of Fighter, Engineer and Outcast.

Rocketmen: Axis of Evil has been developed by A.C.R.O.N.Y.M. Games. It will be up on the XBLA on March 5, 2008 and will cost some 800 Microsoft Points. As for the PSN, the game will be up there a day later on March 6, 2008 and will cost $10 (approx. Rs. 400).
