The 40GB PS3 has been introduced in most of the countries worldwide. However, the 40GB version of the console is yet to be released in India. We spoke to Mr. Atindriya Bose, who happens to be the Country Manager for PlayStation India. He mentioned that the 40GB PS3 will come out by December 2007.
Mr. Bose said, “Obviously, once you say that the Indian market is important, you cannot but synchronize the launch of the best line-up you have. We are currently selling the 60GB PS3; the 40GB PS3 has been launched in many of the European markets, it’s just a logistics issue that we might have around one to one and a half months delay. By the time, we hit December you will have the 40GB PS3 in the market at a price point that matches the European market.”
