Grease to Revive Movie Franchise on PS3 and Xbox 360

All those who have grooved to songs from the 70s film titled Grease would be pleased to know that a game by the same name is slated to release this fall for the PS3 and Xbox 360. This song and dance title will make use of the PS Move and Kinect motion sensing technologies to allow up to four gamers to play together.

Choreography and songs from the movie franchise will be featured in this title. The tracks that are to be included in the game comprise of popular numbers like ‘You’re the One That I Want,’ ‘Greased Lightning’ and ‘Summer Nights.’ Grease will let gamers sing or dance individually or perform duets or four player acts.

Developed by Zoe Mode and published by 505 Games, this title will come pre-loaded with 15 song compositions from the original film as well as 5 bonus classic rock ‘n’ roll tracks. Choreography routines from the film would also make their way into this game. Moreover, players can even perform freestyle moves to earn points.

Dance Mode and Karaoke Mode are some of the game modes that are on offer through this game. Both versus and co-operative plays are offered by these modes. On the other hand, in the Party Mode, eight players can compete in matches consisting of two teams with four players each.

Grease for PS3 and Xbox 360 will be made available to gamers in North America on October 25, 2011 while it will launch in Europe on November 4. It will support the PS Move and Kinect peripherals for the respective platforms.
