Following the tempo set by Jefferson Airplane, DragonForce and Santana, three other bands are warming up for strumming the subsequent melodic session. Harmonix has announced that Grand Funk Railroad, J. Geils Band and Joy division will take the center stage next week on the Rock Band platform.
Grand Funk Railroad has been scheduled to walk in with two of their popular compilations namely ‘The Loco-Motion’ and ‘We’re an American Band.’ The latter is eligible for Pro Guitar/Pro Bass upgrade along with tracks rendered by J. Geils Band and Joy Division. Players can take control of their recently acquired Squier and Mustang guitar peripherals as they groove along ‘Freeze-Freeze’ by J.Geils Band and Joy Division’s ‘Love Will Tear Us Apart.’
All the aforementioned tracks lined up for next week are original master recordings and will be available on April 5, 2011 for the Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii. Like other weeks, the DLC will reach PS3 owners across Europe a day later, on April 6, 2011.
Each of the aforesaid compositions has been priced at 1.99 USD (approx. Rs. 88), 0.99 GBP (approx. Rs. 71), 1.49 Euro (approx. Rs. 94), 160 MS Points and 200 Wii Points. Players can upgrade eligible songs with Pro Guitar/ Pro Bass expansion pack by shelling out 0.99 USD (approx. Rs. 88), 0.59 GBP (approx. Rs. 42), 0.79 Euro (approx. Rs. 49), 100 Wii Points and 80 Microsoft Points per track.
