Pony Friends is a game released in 2007 for the Nintendo DS platform. Now Square Enix has announced that the sequel, Pony Friends 2 will be made available in North America in February 2010 for the Nintendo DS, Wii and PC.
The game welcomes players back to the stables and packs in all new features. Fans will be able to customize their ponies and explore trails, embark on quests, try out some tricks, take their ponies for races and much more. The game will also provide a unique multiplayer experience allowing players to race against a friend and compete in pony trick championships.
Each pony has its own personality and Pony Friends 2 has a total of 12 breeds to choose from. The DS version of the game will even let players talk to their ponies, using the console’s microphone, and the ponies will respond to players’ voices.
Developed by Tantalus Media, Pony Friends 2 will become available on February 23, 2010 in North America. The game will come for a suggested retail price of 29.99 USD (approx. Rs. 1,385) for the Wii and 19.99 USD (approx. Rs. 925) for the DS. The PC price has not been revealed.
