Rock Band DLC gets Disturbed, Silversun Pickups and more next week

The Rock Band Music Store of downloadable content is all set to be graced by the likes of some stunning artists spanning different genres next week. MTV Games and Harmonix have come together to reveal a three pack of songs from Disturbed as well as single tracks from The Mother Hips, TRUSTcompany and Silversun Pickups. With these inclusions, the total number of artists and songs featured in the Rock Band platform amounts to over 400 and 1,100 respectively.

American rockers Disturbed will bring forth next week three songs namely ‘Meaning of Life’, ‘Voices’ and ‘The Game’. These tracks are plucked right out from the 10th anniversary edition of The Sickness. This album has been remastered and is expected to hit stores next month packed with new artwork, vinyl availability and exclusive online content.

Joining the Disturbed offering next week is alternative rockers Silversun Pickups with two singles namely ‘Sort Of’ and ‘Panic Switch’. These songs are taken from their second studio album entitled Swoon. The Mother Hips comes into the array with two of their tracks ‘White Falcon Fuzz’ and ‘Third Floor Story’ which was featured in their 2009 album called Pacific Dust. Finally bringing the forthcoming inclusion home is TRUSTcompany with their song ‘Downfall’.

The tracks are scheduled to hit the Xbox 360 and Wii on March 2 while PS3 owners can jam to these tunes two days later on March 4, 2010. Each track is priced at £.99 (approx. Rs.70) or 160 Microsoft Points for Xbox 360 while the ‘Disturbed Pack 02’ can be acquired for £2.49 (approx. Rs.175) or 440 Microsoft Points.

Only individual tracks are offered for the Wii at a price of 200 Wii Points each. While all the other songs are expected to make its way to Europe on the allotted dates, the track ‘White Falcon Fuzz’ from The Mother Hips is however scheduled to unveil in the region on March 11, 2010.
